As Beauty Works Hair Extensions are made from 100% Remy human hair, they should be cared for just like natural hair to keep both the hair and its colour looking beautiful for as long as possible. Blonder shades require a little extra care, as factors such as UV exposure, heat styling, minerals in water, and environmental elements can affect their tone over time. To help protect your clients' extensions, we recommend using the Beauty Works Aftercare range, which has been specifically developed and tested with our hair extensions to deliver the best results. Using alternative haircare products, particularly those containing sulphates or harsh chemicals, may reduce the lifespan of the extensions or affect the colour and overall condition of the hair. For most of our extension methods, we recommend using a sulphate-free shampoo. The exception is our Celebrity Choice Weft and Gold Double Weft collections, which have their own dedicated aftercare recommendations. Advising clients on the correct aftercare routine will help maintain the quality, longevity, and colour of their extensions between salon visits.
